General info and Itinerary

This is one wonderful trek in the Himachal Himalayas. The Kurpan valley of Kullu was lesser known before the Shrikhand Mahadev trek became popular. Baga Saharan is a lush green undulating meadow in the upper reaches of the Kurpan Valley. The trek goes from Baga Sarahan upto the Basleo pass which connects the Kurpan Valley with the Thirthan Valley. The trail goes through a lush green meadow, and then into forest of Oak, Rhododendron and Birch. The top is again a lush green clearing with excellent views of the surrounding mountains.
